A British London Rifles Corps Busby The City of London Rifles (CLR) was a volunteer infantry regiment of the British Army, originally raised as the 'Printers' Battalion'. It saw a great deal of action as an infantry regiment in World War I. During World War II it served first as a searchlight regiment in the United Kingdom, and later as an anti-aircraft artillery regiment in North West Europe. An Edwardian black seal skin busby of the King's Royal Rifle Corp with black cords forming a plaited festoon at the front, plain black cloth ground, black corded boss mounted with blackened metal cross with short black over red horse hair plume, the interior bearing retailers label.
