Third Empire ebonised boulle mounted display cabinet, c.1870 the stepped top, fitted with a pierced three quarter gilt metal gallery, leading to a central large glazed door, flanked by a further pair of smaller glazed doors, each enclosing a selection of shelves, the lower part with rectangular top, above twin large glazed doors, having outset turned and fluted pilasters, all resting on a plinth base with bracket feet, the whole with panels of boulle inlay and gilt metal appliques and pater'.
