19th century European boulle desk standish of rectangular form, fitted with twin original glass ink bottles, flanking a lidded pen stand, leading to a well inlaid with a figural cartouche, featuring classical figures on a raised platform, under a pair of floral swags, and a shallow long drawer, all resting on bracket feet, the whole decorated with tendril scrolls.
