A George IV silver Horseracing trophy of Victorian Interest: the 1853 'First Hunt Steeplechase' trophy cup and cover, Paul Rundell / London /, circa 1820, campana, the cover and body bearing the inscription 'First Hunt Steeplechase / Won by / Mr A. McLean hunter's / Benedict / on the Prahran Course / Melbourne / 1853,' the body chased with an anthemeon and classical mask frieze above a leaf tip border, flanked by angular handles, above a tapering stem with a leaf-cast skirt, raised on a circular foot, approximately 3265gms, 47 cm high, together with a single door cedar and mahogany travelling case, (split to the body of the case near the top door hinge), 35.5 x 55 x 42 cm, more text to Follow, History, Norma B.
