Norm O'Neill's Australian 'Baggy Green' test cap, green wool, embroidered Australian coat-of-arms & '1959-60' on front, Farmer's label inside marked '9/59 N.O'Neill'. Provenance: Ex Sid O'Linn (South Africa 7 Tests 1960-61). [Norman O'Neill played 42 Tests 1958-65. Early in his career O'Neill was one of the foremost batsman in the Australian team, scoring three test centuries and topping the run scoring aggregates on a 1959-60 tour of the Indian subcontinent which helped Australia win it's last test and series on Pakistani soil for 39 years, as well as another series win in India]
