Hododa Meiji Satsuma '118 Figures' lotus shaped bowl painted to the interior with a medallion of geisha, with the interior wall painted with four fan shaped windows of holy men & another four diamond shaped panels of two geisha, all on a ground of varying repeating motifs. the exterior is painted with eleven panels of warriors, holy men & geisha, all on a ground of various repeating patterns, circa 1880. Signed Hododa. on a carved timber stand. Condition good, some minor wear consistant with age. Diameter 24.7 cm
