Nine finely painted Mongolian miniature thangka paintings, [9], depicting Buddha, Bodhisattvas & other deities, miniature thangka paintings are used for personal spiritual practices when traveling. They are often kept in a bronze or wood Gua, a type of locket that houses the painting. It is then worn around the neck for devotional practices & protection when travelling.
