A set of five fine Mongolian miniature thangka paintings, [5], five paintings of auspicious symbols & a protector guardian, early 20th century, miniature thangka paintings are used for personal spiritual practices when travelling. They are often kept in a bronze or wood Gua, a type of locket that houses the painting. It is then worn around the neck for devotional practices & protection when travelling.
