A near pair of Irish sterling silver golfing trophy cups, 1929 and 1931 Dublin, with maker's marks of T. Weir & Sons, the heavy gauge barrel shaped cups both with foliate embellished ear form handles, knopped stems and raised upon shaped circular bases, one cup with gadroon decoration; both items inscribed to the same golfer who won the Portmarnock cup in 1930 and 1932, silver weight 633gr. Height 12.5 cm and 13.5 cm.
