A pair of neoclassical Georgian silver candlesticks, 1780 Sheffield, with maker's marks I.B with pellet in cartouche, the elegant tapering square section sticks of column and urn form raised on shaped square bases, decorated in the restrained neoclassical manner, with beading, swags, pendant motifs and husk and paterae borders; hallmarked to foot rim and also to sconces, total weight 1358gr (with timber bases). Height 31.5 cm.
