A pair of Kakiemon-style Arita blue and white dishes, early Edo, circa 1680. Each foliate-rimmed designed with two figures in a boat and a distant pagoda, bordered by a finely moulded section of breaking waves, iron-dressed rims, 22 cm & 21.8 cm diameters.
