A small jadeite snuff bottle, late Qing dynasty - Republic period, late 19th - early 20th century, finely carved with lion mask handles, a bird and lotus in low relief on one side, the well-polished and hollowed stone with pale and dark green inclusions, support on a small foot rim, with amethyst stopper. Provenance: The property of the late Sir Tristan and Lady Antico, purchased Sotheby's Hong Kong, 11/1997, lot: 2164, 4.4 cm high
