A fine Japanese two panel folding screen, Meiji period (1868-1912), inlaid in ivory, bone and silver on a dark blue lacquer ground, with a scene of three geese flying under a full moon above tall flowering grasses, mounted within a 'huali' hardwood frame above two elaborate panels. The back with swallows in flight on a black lacquer background. Supported on four brass casters., each panel: 181.5 x 83 cm. Provenance: Brans Antiques and Arts exhibition, Perth
