A fine Chinese silver foliate-rimmed plate, late Qing dynasty, late 19th-early 20th century. With a scene central in a central medallion, of officials being entertained, surrounded by eight petal- form segments finely chased with flora, fauna and aquatic scenes, similar subjects in a continuous scene on the rim. Marked 'WH 90' (Wang Hing) and one studio seal 'Qiu Ji, 30.7 cm diameter, 857gms weight. Provenance: Edith’s Gallery, HK, 1999
