Description:
A 1920s Chinese silver cocktail set, the ewer, decorated in high relief with a sinuous dragon circling the tapering cylindrical body, the short spout fitted with a cork secured by a chain, the lid with bun finial similarly fitted with cork and with plain scroll handle. Marked for the China Jewellery Co. Height 29.5 cm 860gms, together with five conforming silver shot glasses and one extra in similar manner. Marked for the China Jewellery Co. Diameter 30 cm 690 gms, with a matching silver circular tray, engraved to the centre with a sinuous dragon and mystic pearl, relief dragons encircle the rim. Diameter 30 cm 690gms.
