A Japanese Satsuma bowl, together with a polychrome Chinese bowl, both 20th century [2], the satsuma featuring ornate geometric and floral walls to the interior and exterior of the bowl, and a central pattern depicting water fowl amongst scenery. The Chinese bowl in underglaze turqoise features a central floral motif and six character mark base. Chinese bowl with one repaired chip to rim, Satsuma diameter 16.5 cm
