An English ebonised and gilt bronze mounted bracket clock, retailed by J.E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia, late 19th century, the arched brass dial with three subsidiary dials, the silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, chiming on eight bells, and strike silent, anchor escapement, rise and fall pendulum adjustment, striking the quarter hour on the gong, pierced gilt metal spandrels, the rectangular case with serpentine handles, pierced fretwork domed hood and sides, lion paw feet, 59 cm high
