A fine George III mahogany dressing commode, circa 1770, of serpentine form, having a moulded rim to the top, lifting to reveal an interior fitted for washing accoutrements, a full width faux drawer to the top, a central door flanked by four small drawers, all with brass handles, flanked by canted and fluted corners, with two concealed drawers to either side, supported on bracket feet, 86 cm high, 100 cm wide, 52 cm deep
