A fine French gilt wood and ormolu mounted lyre shaped mantel clock, early 19th century, a maskhead deity surmount above a foliate swag held by scrolling arms painted with polychrome flowers and leaves and with applied acanthus leaf mounts to base, the drum movement with white enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, 8-day bell strike movement with count wheel, supported on a turned socle and raised on a polychrome flower and foliage decorated oval base with applied ormolu mounts, 57 cm high
