A French bronze and ormolu elephant clock, late 19th century, modelled as a standing bronze elephant supporting the drum case, surmounted by an ormolu child resting on rockwork with grapes, raised on an ormolu floral scroll work base, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, signed 'Costain/A Paris/Grie de la Madeleine' with two train chiming movement striking on a bell, 53 cm high, 45 cm wide, 18 cm deep
