An Italian pietra dura topped giltwood table, circa 1880, the circular black marble top inlaid with carnelian, moonstone, lapis lazuli, jade, agate, red jasper, pink quartz, with a central floral spray, framed by alternating shells and floral sprigs, mounted into an English gilt wood table in the Venetian taste, having a beaded apron, supported on a fluted central column with baluster acanthus collar, terminating in three mask surmounted downward scrolling legs, 75.5 cm high, 77.5 cm in diameter
