A hardstone inlaid hardwood brushpot, Bitong, of cylindrical form, the straight sides inlaid in varying coloured hardstones, bone and mother-of-pearl, with a vase of magnolia and chrysanthemum beside various scholar's objects, the reverse inlaid with a three line inscription and two seals, the wood of dark brown tone, 17.5 cm high
