A 'Guan'-style vase, Cong, the body in the form of an archaic jade cong, of square section supported on a short tapering foot and rising to a flat shoulder and tapering short neck, each corner with eight raised horizontal bands within raised rectangular panels, covered overall with a faintly crackled rich bluish-green glaze, the unglazed footrim burnt orange in the firing encircling a small central aperture, 25 cm high
