A jade blade, probably, Shang dynasty, of flattened section with bevelled edges, pierced at one end with a small circular aperture, and with short projecting ribs to either side, the straight sides curved on the lower section, an archaic inscription to one side, the grey-green stone with pale brownish suffusions, fitted box, 17.5 cm long.
