A fine Edwardian gilded sterling silver Sweet meat basket, 1907 London, with maker's mark for Lionel Alfred Crichton, the heavy gauge gilt washed basket of flaring oval form with a swing handle, pierced and profusely decorated to the body with flowers and trefoil and quatrefoil motifs with a rococo styled rope, scroll and shell border, and raised on a similarly embellished apron base with four petite feet. Silver weight 247gr. Height 6.5 cm. Length 16 cm. Width 13 cm
