A French figural mantle clock in the Louis XV style, later 19th century, with maker's marks for Japy Freres, the eight day movement clock with an enamel dial and Roman numerals set within a gilded bezel of scrolling pierced foliage and tumbling grape vines, surmounted by the spelter figure of a grape harvester, in repose upon his full basket, a small scythe in his hand.
