An antique Simon & Halbig 'Dainty Dorothy' doll, model introduced 1894, model 80 (1080), dated to post 1905, the doll with a bisque head, composition and enamel painted limbs with ball joints, 'Sleeping' blue grey glass eyes, an open mouth with four teeth, pierced ears and a blonde curled wig, delicately painted to the face with subtle colouring and delineated brows, marked Simon & Halbig to the rear neck and model number below. Height 83 cm
