A c.1840 Chinese silver table salt cellar by Khecheong of Canton, rectangular form, the mildly curved flat rim with shell and fruiting vine relief end handles, fine lobed side rims, plain tapered body raised on platform base, with four scrolling mounted lion's feet, in the English manner.
