Carl Eickhorn Solingen Prussian Deluxe pattern lion head artillery Sabre featuring a deeply cast lionhead pommel with ruby coloured eyes, the P-shaped knuckle-bow is cast with oak leaves & filligrees. the gold plated brass has floral & military motifs with fancy scroll engraving. Date of manufacture 1900-1918. Condition good, no chips to the blade, scabbard possibly re-painted. Length of scabbard 97 cm. Length of blade 80 cm
