Kelly Gang signed photograph an original carte de visite, pasted down on a Tasmanian photographer's card, then further pasted down to a 1920s Kodak paper, showing Dan Kelly, Ned Kelly & Steve Hart on a verandah, probably at Euroa. This has been signed Dan K, Ned K (in Joe Byrne's hand) & Steve Hart in 1879. Originally sold by Lawsons in 1988, Joe Byrne is known to have 'written' letters for Ned. Albumen photographs of the Kelly gang have been known to move between photographers (Burman, Barnes & Bray have all 'published' each others images). Outside of the Lawson catalogue this image is also on the cover of the new edition of G. Wilson hall's the Kelly Gang, or, Outlaws of the Wombat Ranges (1879). Unique. Dimensions 9 x 5.5 cm
