North Island cup and saucer, 'Refreshment Rooms 0', the blue printed garter and detail to both cup and saucer made in England by John Maddock & Sons, the '0' being the number relating to the Ohakune Station. Note: In 1936 the Railways Department Refreshment Branch instruction manual gave notice that all crockery belonging to a particular North Island Refreshment Room was not to use 'Foreign' crockery, thus implementing a number system for the various stations
