A fine pair of French walnut carvers in the Louis XIII manner, later 19th century, the high square backed chairs of generous proportions with curvaceous ogee edged open arms and supports to stuffover seats, os-de-mouton legs and 'H' form stretchers; well upholstered in gold and cream jacquard with stylised Persian flowers, edged in brass studs. Height 123 cm. Width 66 cm. Depth 82 cm.
