A fine Spode Sucrier, circa 1805-10, pattern 1643, the oval boat shaped sucrier with elegant loop handles and a domed lid with an oval knop, decorated with gold bands and repeat foliate borders, the principal frieze with puce and emerald flowers, the lid of conforming design; with iron red mark of Spode and pattern number underside. Height 12 cm. Width 17.5 cm.
