A vintage Japanese ivory cat ornament, probably early Showa period, mid 20th century, the small carving in the form of a white cat with tortoiseshell quatrefoil inlaid markings, the feline stretched in the shape of an exaggerated 'U' form with two paws raised. Height 5.5 cm.
