A New Zealand pottery bowl and a traditional spear, the painted Pacific bowl of low conical form with a small foot rim with a stylised silver fern frond in a crackle finish upon a black glazed ground; and a traditional carved timber 'Taiaha' fabricated with the elements of the land, timber, pounamu greenstone, feathers and paua shell, and resting in a timber stand. Diameter 25 cm. (bowl) length 36 cm. (spear).
