Satsuma Ogurisu vase having finely painted gilt floral detail to the neck & two panels to the body, one of geisha at leisure, the other of a landscape pagoda scene. Both panels flanked by Japanese wisteria trees, with the tapered base painted with flowers, overlaid by a honeycomb gilt banding. Signed to the base. Condition good, expected crazing & age related wear to the base. Height 18.5 cm
