A Russian silver presentation kovsh, bearing marks for Ovchinnikov, of substantial proportions, with gilt washed interior, a continuous beaded rim and a handle in the form of a mythical beast, decorated with elaborate and finely worked repousse decoration of entwined wreaths with ferocious birds of prey, with continuous inscription to the rim and names engraved on the base.
