A French satinwood Empire bureau abbatant, circa 1900, the pierced ormolu gallery on an architectural pediment decorated with a classical central mask over a central cavity flanked by gilt columns of maiden-head busts, the fall front decorated with a frieze depicting a classical horse-drawn carriage and opening to a fitted writing slope over a two door cabinet on animal paw feet.
