Original Footage of Marilyn Monroe 'Marilyn Monroe - Two and One Half Minute Candid Film Assortment' (1959) comprising, original .8 cm film in its original Kodak box, with 'Marilyn Monroe' handwritten on the outside and postmarked 30 March 1959. Also a CD copy and a DVD copy. in 1959 the Motion Picture 'Some Like it Hot' was being filmed on location at the Hotel Del Coronado on the California Beach, the Oscar award Picture starred Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. During a break in filming, Marilyn decided she would visit the nearby San Diego Naval Base, one very fortunate young Naval Officer had his .8 cm camera and was given permission to film Marilyn as she visited the base. Later that day he was invited back to the Hotel Del Coronado and allowed to film on set, the result is the 21/2 minutes of candid Marilyn Monroe footage never before seen, the footage also features Tony Curtis and the director Billy Wilder.
