Minton Majolica rams head decorated jardiniere with under plate having a tapered body decorated in relief with floral & fruit swags on a spirally fluted turquoise ground, the top edge with an egg & dart pattern in blue, yellow gold & white, the bottom edge with a garland design of laurel leaves & ribbon in green & mauve, resting on a round fluted undertray with a matching egg & dart pattern, modelled by Baron Carlo Marochetti & shown at the great Exhibition in 1851. Condition, fair, some early chips & cracks
