A Worcester famille rose teapot, circa 1770, the globular teapot with a simple curved spout and loop handle decorated in a puce, purple, emerald and iron red palette with delicate gilt highlights, with loose floral decoration and shaped cellular borders to the collar and cover, an applied peony poppy bud finial; unmarked but for an incised circular wheel mark underside. Height 15 cm. Width 18.5 cm
