A Clarice Cliff 'Bignou' cup and saucer, 1930s, the Art Deco cup of conical form with a shaped triangular handle decorated with handpainted radiating panels and curved motifs in yellow, green, orange, blue and purple with striking black outlines upon a deep cream ground, the saucer similarly decorated; backstamps underside.
