A Royal Worcester demitasse cup and saucer, 1883, pattern W above 543, the straight sided cup tapering to a broad foot rim having a ring form and bracket handle, with trailing peony blooms in pink and puce colours with matte olive foliage and borders with gilt accents upon a blue grey floral patterned ground, the saucer conforming; with backstamps, pattern number and decorator's marks underside.
