An antique ebony Parallel Rule and a pocket sextant, 19th century, the sextant with mark of Flavelle, opticians of George Street, Sydney, the rule bevelled to the long sides, attached by three shaped brass hinges and operated by two brass buttons; the brass pocket sextant, probably English made and retailed through Flavelle, with 140 degrees of arc, peep hole sighting and Vernier scale with magnifier, with inscribed name G.
