A World War II German Rad officer's dagger, circa 1939-1945, maker's mark of Boker of Solingen to throat of blade, having a shaped folded steel blade bearing the motto Arbeit Adelt to one side, a scrolled guard to a horn handle with a stylised eagle head and housed in a leather clad and embellished timber scabbard with strap attachments, the tip bearing an engraved swastika.
