Nicole Nielsen & Co., an 18ct gold half-hunter cased chronograph pocket watch mvt & case 9564 retailed by Hardy Brothers London circa 1884 English lever movement signed by retailer, white enamel dial, black Roman numerals and minute divisions, blued steel hands, polished case with black enamel Roman numerals, the reverse with monogram, push button in the band, gold cuvette inscribed From C.A. Russell 21st Feb. 1884, case with maker's marks C.N., E.N. (Charles Nicole & Emile Nielsen), dial signed Hardy Bros London, diameter 51 mm. Accompanied by original leather covered fitted box embossed with initials C.E.R.
