Thai ceremonial gold necklace, circa 15 th Century, one hundred and eight hammered gold beads with a fine filigree cased and open work pendant. The one hundred and eight heavy gold beads placed on a gold rod with a spiral wire casing. The size and imposing nature of the piece and the sacred Buddhist number of beads suggests it has adorned a temple sculpture. 15ct yellow gold. Weight 190 grams. Length 85 cm approximately.
