An important Tasmanian huon pine exhibition quality tea table with impressive sunburst top inlaid with huon pine, maple, ebony, cedar, King Billy pine & tulip wood. Cedar secondary timbers. Supported on a tapering octagonal column resting on a tri-form platform base & turned feet. Original finish and patina. Possibly missing 2 collars from the base, & under carriage has been replaced. 70 cm high, 77 cm diameter. This piece was purchased in the 1980's from an estate sale in the Huon Valley of Tasmania
