A large and impressive William IV embroidered sampler, by Sarah Maughn dated 1835, a dedication verse to the top above a large multi-turreted building with garden, lions, floral sprays and birds, worked in black, red and soft blue and ivory tones on a darker ground, some discolouration consistent with age. 64 cm x 53.5 cm, maple framed under glass.
