A rare George III silver spirit kettle on stand, plain tapered oval form, the mildly concave oval fitted lid with ivory finial, the overhead handle with cane binding, some distress, the four-way concave platform stand with shaped legs and lug supports, original burner to the single tier, stylised web form feet; crested with a chapeau coronet from which a pair of wings issue, and to the other side with an heraldic coat-of-arms surmounted by a knight's helmet and winged chapeau.
